When common people meet…
…some, like this one, overcome shyness and bravely become the MC for the event!
…they sit patiently while listening to less-common people give their speeches…
…some, like this one, bravely plough through an unexpected call to give a speech..
…while others spoke fluently and passionately about what concerns them and their people.
And still others, stare at the ground, trying to look interested… 8)
… they get together, and do community work.
… not minding to get their hands dirty.
…while having fun at the same time.
…fully satisfied in a task performed well…
…with a great sense of achievement..
…and camaraderie….
…and be amazed what could be accomplished in only an hour…
When common people get together, even Malays can gift Chinese ladies traditional Chinese dresses and call them their adopted children…
.. and all can eat together without worrying about whose hands have prepared the food.
When common people get together, there is peace and harmony; for beyond the clothes, the race, the color and language, lies the human soul which crosses all these boundaries.
It’s only the uncommon people who seek to divide and destroy.
