Jimbo was there!

Jimbo just came back from an overnight trip to Batu Pahat.

On the way there yesterday, Jimbo stopped by at the Petronas Station in Batu Berendam to refill his NGV gas tank. Today, on the way back, Jimbo once again stopped by the same station but found that an incident had happened the night before which forced the closure of the NGV station.

Actually, Jimbo drove all the way back to Seremban from there using petrol instead of gas (because he ran out of gas). All the while he wondered what happened at the station because he saw the burned out wreckage of a van and the roof the station was badly damaged! He had some fearful feelings in his heart as he drove because in the back of the car was this 72 liter NGV tank!
What if it goes ‘kaboom’???!!!!!

And then, Jimbo read about what happened here: Perniaga terbunuh tangki gas van meletup; apparently they used a normal cooking gas tank and modified it to become an NGV tank!

Sigh…

Now, Jimbo don’t feel so anxious anymore.

Birds and Bees

When Jimbo was preparing the power point presentation for the talk he gave at the Nottingham University, he tried to google for suitable pictures to depict the theme, “The Birds and The Bees”.

And he got this:

Jimbo confess that he was sorely tempted to use that for his slides but in the end, sensibility won over foolishness and he chose something more benign like the one below:
