New Doctors

I received this photo in my email a couple of days ago.

It’s the C1/06 batch and also a new (big) batch of fresh doctors who will be convocating tomorrow. It’s become a tradition to have this photo snapped on the steps leading to the campus after the results are announced. When I compare this one with the first one which has my face in it (Batch C1/00), I am amazed about a few things:

1. My hair style looked awful back then.
2. Not many faculty members have remained since then.
3. The batch has progressively gotten bigger and bigger! (No wonder I feel overworked)

Anyway, these young doctors will officially be booted graduate from the university tomorrow. I wish them all the best. It will be another 3-4 months wait before they receive their appointment letter and place of work. Enjoy the short break, it will be the only decent break you will have for a long long long time to come! Do something productive and fruitful with the time.

Cheers!!!

The exam tension must have been so intense.

I just got back from the ‘feedback session’ for the Semester 9 students who finished their exam yesterday and this was what I saw on the tiny desk of one of the chair in the hall.

And no, it’s not Japanese Green Tea.

One of the commonest mistake, at least in post-graduate exam, is to forget to ask to check the SPUTUM MUG!

I know, I know, it’s pretty yucky (!) but there is much to be learned by just peering into the cup!

Usually I would hold my breath before taking a quick peep!

Gaargh…
