Jimbo’s got a new gadget. He received this from a guy after listening to him talk for more than half an hour on a new IT based infectious disease surveillance system (Jimbo thought it was a good idea but the price quoted was RM 500,000!!!).
Any idea what the gadget is? Jimbo has a similar (but less glorified) gadget.

Ahhhh…ok. Got it.
Still, the idea of a reset button for life (some parts of it anyway!) is an appealing one.
About pedometers, Rachel and I each had one during our Mt K climb to Laban Rata. Hers registered approx 14000 steps. Mine recorded more than 22000 steps to L-R. Rachel says mine’s not accurate. I rather think mine might be – knowing that I took goodness-knows how many half and quarter steps to that mid-point.
Umm, Esther, I didn’t say this gadget costs RM 500,000 (if it is, I would have pawned it and moved to the Mauritius islands). What I said was, the IT system he was peddling costs RM 500,000! I suspect this gadget probably costs less than RM 10.
Hi Jimbo,
We sat for a marriage seminar session with Mark Gungor after church service today, and he talked about “pressing the reset button” for our marriage…seeing that your gadget costs RM500K, I was wondering if it is what M. Gungor was talking about in the seminar…if so, it is still too costly to buy, ler…guess I wld have to work on my marriage the old-fashion way – communicate, communicate, communicate!
EsthertanC.
Yup, it’s a pedometer. Haven’t tried it out though, maybe save it for my next attempt up Mount Kinabalu.
That’s a good one, palmdoc! LOL!!!
