I’ve decided to ‘unload’ today and show you what’s on my person everyday when I go to work.

From top (clockwise):

1. Name tag
2. Magnalite torch
3. SE K618i handphone
4. Palm Treo 650
5. Littman Lite Stethoscope (for PM rounds, in the morning, I carry the Littman Cardio)
6. Eyeglo eyedrops (yours truly has dry eyes)
7. Name chop/rubber stamp
8. Pen
9. Room keys
10. A packet of tissue papers (very handy when consoling grieving relatives)
11. Canon Ixus 40 Camera

I used to carry more when I was a HO. My ‘burden’ then included:

1. Lab forms of all kinds and sizes
2. Xray forms
3. Consent forms
4. The Sarawak Manual
5. My little notebook
6. Milo 3-in-1 (there was no time to eat!)
7. Last week’s KFC receipt
8. Some non-descriptive organic material (ugh!)

I guess the load gets lighter as one gets more senior. :-)

Now tell us what do you carry on you?

I think only a child can sleep like this. If I were to do this, I would need:

1. A chiropractic referral

2. Intense physiotherapy and rehabilitation

3. A month long MC.

4. More space. ;P

Mon, 081007 @ 1448; how come no one ever told me being lecturer entails so much of paper work?

This young man presented with palpitations.

This is part of his ECG tracing:

Questions:

1. What are the abnormalities in the ECG?

2. What is the condition that he has?

Mon, 081007 @ 0748; suffering from AGE, I wonder what did I eat that triggered it?
