The presentation went very well yesterday. It was heartening to see that the first 3 speakers (yours truly included, and the other was a medical student….so proud of you!!!) came from the same place of work! Talk about monopoly.
As with any other talk I have given before, my tummy was alive with a dozen or so butterfly farms before the talk! And oddly enough, I received 2 similar ‘encouragement’ from my ex-colleagues from UMMC! They texted me the following: “all the best, just imagine your audience is naked! and you will be fine”.
Try as I might, it would be difficult to imagine naked cardiologists, physicians, paramedics and medical students which made up the audience yesterday. And for the life of me, I cannot see how imagining them naked, other than severely distracting my focus, was going to help my confidence! 
Still, naked or not, it went well.
