Freelancing?


I received a call just before I left for home today from some one from a well known local magazine. He asked if I could work for them as a freelance writer writing on medical related subjects and talks. My first assignment will be to cover a medical talk at the Ritz Carlton next Friday in KL.

I am actually terrified at the idea. I have always enjoyed writing but I feel that my writing is inferior compared to some other people’s work. I also feel that I can’t write anything of ‘substance’!

I will give it a try. See how it goes. If it doesn’t work out, at least I can say I tried. :-)

I forgot to ask how much they will be paying!!!!

Thurs, 180107 @ 2056; nearly had hemetemesis coaching my kid in her school work just now. Sigh.

Season’s Eatings


I received this video from a friend last Christmas. It had me laughing so hard it hurt in the belly. I have attempted to upload this on youtube but it was rejected each time I did it. Perhaps the content of the video was deemed too ‘unwholesome’. What prudes!

Anyway, as a last resort to bring some cheer into this cheerless world (the world does seem cheerless when you are nursing a flu), I have uploaded it to sendspace. Here is the link: Season’s Eatings.
