Will be flying to kiasuland Singapore this evening to attend a one day meeting tomorrow. The maker of Levitra (Bayer) will be announcing the result of a head-to-head study between Levitra and the more popular Viagra (guess who came out better?) and we the ‘experts’ are invited for the update.
It’s been well over 2o years since I last visited Singapore (the transit at Changi early this year don’t count). The last was when I was there for the Asia Pacific Boys’ Brigade International Meeting! I remember ooh-ing and aah-ing over the ‘amenities’ there at the time. I was particularly impressed with 3 things back then: the cleaniness of the place, the Christmas decor at Orchard Road and the public phones using prepaid cards! (Back then, in Bolehland Malaysia, we only have public phones with dials).
I doubt I will be able to see much of Singapore this time round as I will reach late in the evening and leave by tomorrow evening. I reckon it would be nice to take a more leisurely trip next time round and sample the island that has progressed from the above to banning gum chewing, drinking nee water and buying into foreign telcos.
